2010 Photographic Competition Results

(21 Nov 2010)

The 2010 Vampire Preservation Group photographic competition has now concluded and the final results are as follows:

In third place Daniel Butcher, with an interesting and unusual angle of WZ507, using a shallow depth of field.

In second place Mike Cleaver, with a picture of WZ507 displaying at Abingdon Air And Country Show during a rare moment of sunshine!

In first place, with a unanimous decision from the judging panel, Paul Brennan with a striking image of WZ507, demonstrating precise focus and atmospheric use of sepia which increases the effect of the clouds in the background. The judges particularly liked the contrast between the symmetry and bold lines of WZ507 in the foreground and the soft and disordered appearance of the clouds behind.
